Collection: Functional Art
My Functional art practice begins with furniture that has lost its perceived value - vintage and sometimes antique pieces that are worn, discarded, or overlooked despite the clear craftsmanship that once went into them. These objects often find their way to the donation centers or the edge of disposal, carrying stories that were nearly erased.
Through repair, restoration, and original hand-painted artwork, I transform these pieces into bold, one-of-a-kind statements that cannot be ignored. Some works are carefully revived and returned to use; others are completely reimagined, becoming both functional furniture and collectible works of art.
Each piece is designed to live in the world - usable, enduring, and meaningful. As my practice grows, so does the value of these works, offering their owners something rare: furniture that does not simple age, but appreciates. What was once destined to disappear is given the opportunity to matter again.
