Description:
This piece began as a vintage writing desk, carrying the quiet weight of time - the kind of surface that feels like it’s already heard a few stories. It was reimagined into a functional art piece built for creativity, late nights, and the kind of imagination that leans toward the strange.
Finished in Shipwreck Blue with a storm-washed, muted tone and black hardware, the desk balances age with boldness. The exterior remains grounded and usable, while the interior hides something more playful - and more unsettling.
Hidden Art reveals itself when the drawers are opened. Each drawer side is hand-painted with a bold, graphic blue drip outlined in black - less fine art, more dark art energy. It feels like ink, goo, or something leaking through from another story entirely. The drawer bottoms are fully lined, turning each drawer into a small, intentional space rather than an afterthought.
